ICI has expanded their Quality Assurance/Inspection and Shipping department to a larger building at their Topeka manufacturing facility.

The move has more than doubled the square footage available to QA/Inspection and Shipping, and has faciliated a more efficient operation by providing more space for staging of product prior to shipment. In addition, the move allowed ICI to expand their wireless computing capabilities into the Quality/Shipping/Receiving building so that personnel can work more effectively with less wasted movement. 

This move also represented the completion of one of ICI's major continuous improvement projcects for 2009. "ICI has been recognized as a Quality Supplier by several customer organizations, and will allow us to continue to improve our quality and shipping efficiency," said Jackie McGranahan, Quality Manager.

The new facility became operational at the end of July 2009.
