ICI offers a broad range of capabilities to manufacture even the most complex component parts. We utilize state-of-the-art CNC (computer numerically controlled) machines, plating lines, fabrication facilities, and other equipment.

Here is a brief overview of our operation and capabilities: 

Raw Materials Receiving

5,000 sq ft raw materials receiving and processing facility. All incoming raw materials are immediately tagged upon receipt, with bar code tags which include at a minimum the material part number and the heat/lot number from the mill for full material traceability. We require full traceability of all raw materials throughout our processing in order to assure that certifications of all materials are available at any time for any product that we manufacture. 

Raw Material Processing/Sawing

We utilize 3 CNC bandsaws and one CNC coldsaw that have capabilities from .0625 to 14" in diameters. These CNC saws utilize fluid power and linear drives to give you accuracy and speed in anything that we process in this department. Whether you need something cut .100 long or 24' long we can do it. 

Laser Cutting & Bending

Fully automated, high-volume, state-of-the-art laser cutting of carbon steel material from 0.030" to 1.000" in thickness, stainless steel up to 0.750" and aluminum up to 0.500". CNC bending machines capable of .015 thick to 3/4" and lengths from .015 to 107". 

Case Hardening

We have two CNC 250,000 Kva Induction Hardening machines. These machines are capable of induction hardening any grade of carbon steel from 1/2" all the way to 6" in diameters and lengths to 12'. In order to verify proper surface hardness and case depth we have four Rockwell testers that will verify hardness from "C" scale to Brinell and everything in between.  

Turning/Machining

ICI offers a full line of machining capabilities. We have 10 CNC Horizontal Lathes that range from 1/8" in diameter all the way to 14" in diameter. We hold and repeat tolerances to .0002 and obtain if required a machined finish of 20 Ra (micro finish). Several of these CNC lathes are equipped with automatic bar loaders for high speed machine operations with part unloaders. We also offer Roll Threading in most all threads up to 2-1/8" in diameter. Roll Threading allows for stronger threads with no stock removal. ICI also utilizes the latest in Machine Tool technology to ensure that we have the right tooling for the right application. Employees are given continuous training in house and out of state to make sure that everyone within ICI are trained in the vast tooling that we maintain to give you on time delivery.  

Vertical Milling

ICI has 4 CNC VMC's (Vertical Machining Centers) that are 3 and 4 axis. All of these VMC's have 24" x 48" continuous travel and we also can handle lengths up to 240" with intermittent travel. These machines have linear and box way construction for high speed and rigidity. If you have rigid tapping specifications or needing high speed milling, pocket contouring, molds, or anything we can do it. 

Centerless Grinding

ICI has 5 Centerless grinding machines capable of grinding material 0.500" to 6.000" in diameter, and lengths up to 20', with surface finishes down to 6 Ra. We also have 2 cylindrical or universal grinders that are capable of grinding up to 12" in diameter and 6' in lengths. 

Metal Finishing

Hard Chrome - High corrosion resistance hard chrome plating, 220 hr standard with even higher corrosion resistance finishes available. We have 19 plating tanks dedicated to Hard Chrome, Decorative Chrome, Nickel, Zinc, Phosphate, Copper, Black Oxidizing, Anodizing, Brass that can handle up to 48" in diameter to 14' in length. We have two high volume semi automatic lines that can handle 7,500 parts per day.

Zinc - We offer Zinc Clear (bright silver color), Zinc Iridescent (Gold/Yellow), Zinc Phosphate, on lengths up to 8'. We have semi automatic lines for both Rack and Barrel Zinc.

Electroless Nickel - Capabilities up to 3" in length.

Electrolytic Nickel - Capabilities up to 8' in length.

Copper - Capabilities up to 8' in length and .002 deposit.

Anodize - Clear anodize of aluminum up to 8' in length.Powder Coat - 6' in width to 12' in length either batch or high volume production on conveyor.  

Fabrication

ICI also offers a complete fabrication facility that houses two press brakes, shears, several welding centers from Mig to Tig and Heliarc. We are capable of high volume to large fabrication of welded components on carbon steel to aluminum to stainless. 

Powder Coating 

From high volume conveyor rack system to batch coating. We can handle lenths up to 11' and widths to 8' and volume from one piece to several thousand.

Quality 

Quality within ICI is integral throughout all stages of manufacture. We have a full climate controlled inspection facility on site and a complete staff dedicated to providing superior quality in anything that we do.
